Astrology and Me

My name is Jeanne and I am affectionately known to many as Shelly. I am currently studying the Vedic and Western principles of Astrological Charting. This is a field that I strongly believe in and I am thrilled to be a part of such an elite group of persons with this unique ability. Although my personal studies have only just begun I am excited with each passing day as I learn more and see just how it applies to my own personal life.

My Family

I am happily married to a wonderful man named Wayne. We have been married for 7 years now and we both have children from previous marriages. Wayne has a son named Christopher Ryan who lives in San Antonio, Tx with his mother. I have 4 children: Andrea Michelle who lives in Missouri with her husband and 3 children, Christopher William who also lives in Missouri and has a daughter, Leanna Marie who lives in Amarillo, Tx with her husband and daughter, and Jacob Daniel who lives in Waverly, Ia and works for John Deere.

Without a doubt grandchildren truely are the reward of parenthood. I cannot express the absolute joy that these littles ones bring to our lives. We have been blessed (thus far) with 5 beautiful grandchildren. Ashlee Renae, Alyson Gayle, Chloe Ann, Sara Grace, and Levi Alexander.

RuneScape

In my spare time I enjoy playing an online game called Runescape. A link will be found on the menu bar. This is a massive online rpg and can be played either for free with limited features or as a member for the cost of $5.95 per month. Trust me, if you enjoy this game the monthly fee for the additional features is more than worth getting.

My Hobbies

I enjoy web design and use linux as my operating system. I do not think that it is right that microsoft dictate to the world how a computer should be used, charge for software that is found elsewhere for free, has such security issues, and needs to update constantly. The flavor of Linux that I am currently using is Ubuntu which I find to be very easy to use and stable.

I also crochet, but not as often as I would like due to the ever persistant arthritis in my hands. In spite of this I am going to begin working on a few chair and sofa covers for our home.

I have a passion for writing and I am outlining a new novella as well as tinkering with some ideas for childrens books (perhaps a series of books) for my grandchildren and hopefully for yours as well. The stories and illustrations will be my own and I already have a publisher which I believe would be willing to work with me on these projects.
